Quantum Global looking for new channel segments Osman says Quantum wants to increase its reach in the channel by partnering with different types of partners in retail and traditional reseller segments.

Dubai-based mobile devices brand Quantum Global, has revealed that it's looking to enter new channel markets in the GCC region.

The company, which is participating at DISTREE Middle East 2016 currently underway in Abu Dhabi, said it is at the show to meet existing partners and appoint new retail and distribution partners.

Khaled Osman, CEO, Quantum Global, said the company has come to DISTREE Middle East this year to achieve several objectives. "Firstly, we are participating at DISTREE this year to meet with our existing retail partners and to hear from them some of the challenges they have been experiencing and how together, we can find solutions the issues impacting their businesses," he said. "Secondly, we are looking to open new channel segments in the GCC hence being at DISTREE will help us to identify partners we believe will help to push the business forward."

Osman said the company wants to increase its reach in the channel by partnering with different types of partners in retail and traditional reseller segments. "We are equally interested in working with online retailers in certain markets where they can exclusively resell our range of smartphone and tablet portfolio.

He explained that Quantum has been impressed by the feedback it has received from retailers already working with the brand. "I believe that we have the advantage in the market because of our commitment to providing quality products at competitive price points," Osman added. "Our smartphone range is doing well in the market and is competing favourably with some of the tier one brands."

He pointed out that Quantum Global is also looking to appoint in-country distributors and new retailers that will help the company to extend its footprint in new channel segments in the GCC and beyond.
