Lenovo appoints new EMEA president
Update: Luca Rossi will replace Eric Cador as EMEA president
Lenovo has named Luca Rossi as its newly appointed North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) president.
Currently Rossi is president of Lenovo's business in Latin America (LATAM), but will now lead both LATAM and EMEA.
Commenting on Rossi's appointment, corporate president and COO Gianfranco Lanci said: "Rossi has a fantastic track record as a business leader both in and out of Lenovo. In the year that he's led the LATAM business he has transformed our results and share in what are very complex and diverse markets. As we look forward he has a great foundation laid by Cador to build on - a foundation that with Rossi's leadership and experience will ensure we can deliver on our business ambitions as a company."
Prior to joining Lenovo in 2015 Rossi was EMEA president for Acer, following various roles over a six year period for the company. Before Acer, Rossi was general manager for Asus Europe after founding and running a system integrator business in Italy for 11 years.
Eric Cador announced his departure on Twitter and will now return to his consulting business. He leaves Lenovo on 10 May.
