Only recently rumours of Samsung testing two Galaxy Note 6 variants surfaced, but now reports suggest Samsung is to potentially unveil a cheaper version of the Note 6, dubbed Galaxy Note 6 Lite.

The Galaxy Note 6 Lite is designed to be a scaled-down version compared to the yet-to-be released flagship device, however reports suggest it will still be a powerful device.

China's micro-blogging site Weibo claims that the Galaxy Note 6 Lite will feature a lower full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels on the same 5.8-inch screen as the Galaxy Note 6.

The processor is reportedly Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, whereas the reports suggest the processor in Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 will be the Snapdragon 823; both of which are powerful. Additionally, the Galaxy Note 6 will support 6GB of RAM, whereas the Note 6 Lite will offer 4GB of RAM.

The same blogging site also leaked Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 specifications, where it suggests Samsung is toying with two different variants, one with a curved screen and the other a plain, ordinary screen.

Samsung has yet to confirm whether the speculations are true for both models.
