Cards & Payment expo kicks off in the Middle East
Cards & Payments Middle East will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre
Running in its 17th year, the Cards & Payments Middle East conference and exhibition for payment solutions returns to Dubai.
The conference is crucial to realising the disruptive ways in which consumers, citizens and businesses manage, spend and borrow money. It aims to bring together global innovators, trialblazers and gurus that have entered into the payments landscape.
The year, regional speakers will include Abdulla Qassem, group COO at Emirates NBD and chairman at Network International; Dr Bernd van Linder, MD at Saudi Hollandi Bank; Suvo Sarkar, SVP and group head of retail banking at Emirates NBD; Mr Bhairav Trivedi, CEO at Network International Llc.
The global speakers will feature Miguel Angel García de la Vega, director of innovation, bank of future at Santander Group; Michael Dooijes, global head of innovation at Rabobank; John Biggs, East Coast editor of TechCrunch; David Rose, Internet of Things expert and instructor at MIT; Ms Minakshi Srivastava, vice president at Bank of America.
In addition to the event, three specialised conferences - Mobile Show Middle East 2016, Retail Show Middle East 2016 and E-commerce Show Middle East 2016 - will be held to provide a complete picture of the payments and e-commerce landscape in the region.
The Retail Show Middle East 2016 will help retailers to remain engaged with future customers and E-commerce Show Middle East 2016 will assist regional businesses to build efficient e-commerce platforms to enhance customer experience.
Cards & Payments Middle East will host 300 exhibitors from 75 countries, as well as provide a platform for experts to share knowledge and technological trends from the payments industry.
