StarLink, region's IT security-specialised "True" Value-Added-Distributor (VAD), presents its 6th Annual IT Security Roadshow taking place across seven cities in the Middle East, namely Cairo, Muscat, Kuwait City, Manama, Riyadh, Doha, and Dubai between the 6th and the 27th of April.

This multi-city event will see key IT decision-makers and professionals from various industries across the region attend the conference in their respective cities, to gain perspective into the latest trends and best-practices from industry experts including Trend Micro, Nutanix, Riverbed, Titus, Attivo Networks, Dell Security and Veracode.

The theme of the Roadshow is: Securing Enterprise Data from the User to the Datacenter. Topics to be covered in the keynote vendor presentations include user protection, datacentre & cloud security, network defence from attacks, invisible infrastructure, insider threat prevention, application performance & security, and deception technology. The event will also serve as a platform to discuss IT challenges, and to network with industry peers.

“Enterprises and government entities are being targeted constantly with next-generation threats that impact reputation and incur financial loss. Simultaneously organisations are being tasked with reducing costs and consolidating infrastructure to scale into the future.” says Nidal Othman, Managing Director at StarLink.

He added, “Our Roadshow this year will provide analytical insight into the risks facing companies today, along with the steps required to defend against breaches while securing enterprise data across user, network and application environments, and achieving hyper-convergence and control in the datacentre assisting customers to meet today’s constrained budgets.”
