RAK Ceramics signs CSC for SAP services
CSC to provide transformation and support services for RAK Ceramic's SAP deployment
RAK Ceramics has signed service provider CSC to deliver process transformation and support services for its SAP deployment, for the next three years.
The contract is intended to to make RAK Ceramics' current SAP and service management landscape more agile and responsive to evolving business needs. The $1bn conglomerate, which is mainly focused on the production of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, is a major user of SAP having completed its initial deployment at its UAE HQ in 2013-2014.
Under the agreement, CSC MEA will deliver four integrated service streams to roll out the transformation, namely SAP Process Improvement, User/Knowledge Assessment, Automated Service Desk (SolMan), and Problem Resolution in UAE, India, and Bangladesh. A highly experienced and dedicated team of consultants will be assigned on-site in the three countries plus at CSC's offshore centre in Mumbai, to carry out all essential work.
