CeBit, the international digital business event in Hannover, Germany, encompasses all the latest developments that are shaping markets and impacting consumers to offer managers and executives' guidance, inspiration and innovations.

New technologies in such fields as big data and analytics, cloud computing, mobile applications, social business, IT security and the Internet of Things are opening up new opportunities for companies.

From 14 to 18 March, the focus of CeBIT 2016 is on the digital transformation of every industry, the Internet of Things and security in a digitised economy and society.

With its chosen lead theme of "d!conomy: Join - create - succeed", CeBIT 2016 places people at the centre of the digital transformation in their role as decision-makers and creators. Only those who participate in digitalisation by actively shaping it will successfully navigate the transformation. This theme figures prominently in every segment of the show, with sample applications on view in multiple exhibition halls and in-depth exploration and discussion at the CeBIT Global Conferences.

Partner Country Switzerland a market leader in digital innovation

CeBIT's official Partner Country in 2016 is Switzerland. The event is thus highlighting one of the leading countries around the globe in the use of digital technologies. Switzerland is one of the world's most innovative countries, an internationally recognised research and development hub, one of the wealthiest countries in the world - and is at the cutting edge when it comes to implementing digitalisation strategies. The first place to explore is the Swiss Central Pavilion in Hall 6.
