HavenCo, the Sealand-based data centre which was on a World War II anti-aircraft platform located seven miles off the English Coast in international waters. It was first founded in 2000, but ceased operating between 2008 and 2012due to a legal dispute over project funding. It now offers proxies and virtual private networks using European and American servers. (Ryan Lackey)
