Gulf Air renews strategic agreement with Amadeus
The extended partnership now avails enhanced loyalty solutions
Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, and Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, have extended their strategic partnership for three years, with the continuation of the Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution (ALMS).
The continued relationship is expected to further enhance Gulf Air’s business capabilities, aided by Amadeus’ loyalty solutions.
Following the acquisition of Hitit Loyalty’s operations in 2013, Amadeus has reinforced its customer relationship management (CRM) portfolio with a comprehensive roadmap in loyalty and customer service supported by the Amadeus Altéa Suite. The resulting upgraded service line, the Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution (ALMS), continues to be the preferred customer loyalty solution for Amadeus’ existing customers and has helped the company expand its client base across the globe.
As part of this continued relationship, Gulf Air will benefit from the Amadeus Loyalty Management System’s clear and defined strategy towards loyalty and customer experience management.
Dr Jassim Haji, Gulf Air Director of Information Technology spoke of the longstanding and ongoing relationship between the two parties: “Loyalty services are critical for any airline and in order for us to be able satisfy and reward our loyal passengers we require a strong, flexible and dynamic solution. Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution has proved to be very effective and we are pleased to continue our relationship with them that has spanned over six years to date.”
“We are delighted to continue supporting Gulf Air in strengthening their customer loyalty programme that will allow the airline to personalize and enhance its customer engagement, improving brand and revenues and supporting future expansion of their partner ecosystem through a seamless integration,” said Maher Koubaa, Vice President Airline IT for MENA, Amadeus.
“Amadeus continues to invest into its loyalty portfolio to provide more opportunities to transition from member loyalty into customer experience strategies,” Maher added.
Amadeus Loyalty Management System (ALMS) is part of the Amadeus Loyalty Suite, which is used by over thirty airlines worldwide, and has been lauded for its track record of improving communications and creating strong relationships between its customers and their loyalty program members.
