Canon Middle East and regional distributor Cerebra Middle East FZCO have signed a distribution agreement for the UAE.

The two companies are looking to expand their customer base in the UAE to gain more market share, while addressing some of the gaps that exist in the IP camera space.

Under the accord, Cerebra Middle East will supply the channel with Canon's camera offerings for the personalised control of Security Surveillance. In addition, Cerebra will also distribute Canon's comprehensive range of network visual solutions, which comprise of network cameras and network solutions in the UAE.

Saurabh Arora, vice president, Sales and Support, Cerebra Middle East added that: "This alliance is an assured success since this technology compliments the existing solutions carried by the channel focused on Physical security needs of thier customers. Canon as a brand is trusted by millions of customers worldwide, for thier quality, service, technology and support."

Arora said from Cerebra Middle East's perspective, this partnership will certainly enhance the capability to provide a complete range of security surveillance solutions to the regional channel partners and customers. "With this alliance we have further strengthened our offering for the growing IP Surveillance needs," he added.
