Veritas Technologies LLC, a provider of information management solutions, has announced its independent global partner programme, the Veritas Partner Force.

The vendor's refreshed partner programme is based on extensive partner feedback and is designed to further reward information management partners focused on growing their business with Veritas.

For the newly launched Veritas OEM programme, the company said it enables technology partners to embed each piece of  Veritas information management software and services into their own offerings. This, said Veriats, will allow partners to ensure the high availability of their systems and also to solve customer data management problems by providing insights into data.

Veritas added that the OEM Programme gives partners access to technical and business support and offers training to help seamlessly embed and sell Veritas as a part of the product.

"As Veritas prepares to become a stand-alone company, Veritas' independent partner programme enhances the well-received updates unveiled last year to create a strong, independent channel scheme uniquely focused on information management partners," said Mark Nutt, senior vice president, Worldwide Channel, Veritas. "Veritas listened to its partner community and built programme enhancements based on extensive partner feedback to improve and strengthen Veritas' channel presence. The launch of Veritas Partner Force is a key milestone that enables partners to earn money quickly and predictably while selling Veritas solutions."

Announced at Veritas Partner Link 2015, Veritas' inaugural channel conference, Veritas Partner Force provides continuity for existing Veritas partners while delivering more value to the channel.

Among the changes to the reinvigorated Veritas Partner Force, the vendor has increased the opportunity registration cap from $500k to $1m, while maintaining payout rates, so partners can create and register bigger Veritas transactions with their strategic customers. Veritas has also enhanced its growth accelerator rebate by introducing a three-step payout programme that increases high growth accelerators and simplifies quarterly payouts.

In addition, Veritas has consolidated the qualifications for skilled partners to achieve platinum status by requiring two, rather than three expert competencies and replacing the customer reference requirement with the opportunity for partners to better showcase customer successes.
