Securifi, a manufacturer of wireless routers, has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with regional IT solutions distributor Logicom.

In terms of the agreement, Logicom will promote and distribute Securifi's innovative Almond wireless router series through tits strong channel partner network in the UAE, Gulf, Levant, Turkey, Pakistan, Iraq, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Italy.

"Logicom is a reputed and established distributor in the region with unmatched reach in markets, where Securifi is looking to expand. They have a strong channel network and a proven track record in the Smart and Connected Home technologies segment, which bodes well for our future expansion plans," said Mohammad Meraj Hoda, president, World Wide Sales and Development, Securifi.

Hoda added that flexibility with channel reach is critical for Securifi and that's why it is ahead of the curve with the confluence of technology in its product range. "Logicom came across as the perfect partner to bring this advancement to the region," he said.

Michael Papaeracleous, executive director, Distribution at Logicom added that: "The growing wave of Internet of Things (IoT) has increased the demand for smart, connected products, each offering a myriad of new opportunities. Logicom's partnership with Securifi, and the addition of their innovative Almond wireless router series to our portfolio, allows us to broaden our engagement with smart, connected home technologies and thus enhance our product offering. This will provide our channel and retail partners with access to complete smart connectivity solutions that will give them a competitive edge in the markets they serve."

According to Logicom, it plans to promote Securifi's products through its extensive channel network by conducting channel engagement, training and activation programmes for partners. The distributor also stated that it will set up go-to-market strategies with key retail partners and provide the needed infrastructure for micro-channel to engage with Securifi brand.
