Avaya is showcasing its Smart Office solution, which it is positioning as a way for orgsnisations to deliver on the promise of the Internet of Things (IoT).
The Avaya Smart Office solution allows workers to enter an office and be identified by the location of their phone and their card ID. Employees can use self-service kiosks to be assigned a desk or workspace, which can be automatically configured to their profile – from being logged in with their credentials and digital signage displayed with their identity, to lighting and temperature settings being configured to their preferences.
“Smart Cities can provide benefits to all – but only if created by all and Smart Enterprises must play their part,” Mohammed Areff, Vice President, Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, Avaya.
“To be a Smart Enterprise requires organisations to do more with less and use their resources more effectively. Avaya’s Smart Office solution enables enterprises in the Middle East to deliver effortless digital transformation, increase productivity and boost profitability, while helping workers to be more engaged with the company.” The company is also showcasing ‘Guardian Angel’ this week, a solution aimed at emergency response services. Featurng drones and droids equipped with remote video surveillance, the ‘Guardian Angel’ solution is designed to help authorities respond to emergency calls with greater accuracy.
