Mobile devices firm IKU is planning major growth in the Middle East after launching the brand in the UAE last year.

The company, which offers smartphones, tablets and accessories, sees its key differentiator in the region as the "unbeatable quality" of its products and cites "interest" from consumers in the market.

"We are planning to expand our business to new market frontiers to tap into growing demand from our niche customers," said Mohamed Aziz Soltani, IKU managing director, mobiles and tablets.

Soltani sees a bright future for the brand in the region.

"Our products are designed to suit our customers' tastes and preferences," he said. "We strive to make IKU the most preferred brand in the market by equipping it with all necessary features to address the disruption in customers' tastes and preferences."

Soltani adds that IKU is helping to support its channel partners to grow the brand, by focusing on stock availability, profitability, and in-store experience to create a good experience for customers and partners alike.
