Gemalto will present a wide range of solutions for the smart future, including wearables, home automation security, and smart ID at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

Spanning smart city, Internet of Things (IoT), digital payment and mobile-government solutions, the firm's offerings will be presented via interactive demos on payment and access through wearable devices, IoT solutions, including secure solutions for home automation, and mobile-government ID services.

Solutions on show will include Gemalto's SensorLogic Platform, which can capably secure home automation solutions, as well as provide an optimised, secure infrastructure for smart delivery and fleet management services. Gemalto's mHealth solutions, with remote monitoring and assisted living features, will also be highlighted.

Gemalto's Optelio Contactless MiniTag inserted in a wristband will illustrate the future of digital payments. Billed as a multi-purpose solution, this new cashless, contactless payment form factor can serve as a prepaid payment device, as a transportation card, or as a crowd management solution at large-scale events.

The company will also show comprehensive smart public services solutions, including the Coesys mGov solution, which leverages a combination of contactless national eID cards and NFC phones to form an authentication and signature tool, allowing for safe and convenient access to mobile government services. Gemalto will also highlight its SmartMessage solution that can be used as a non-intrusive, interactive tool for citizen engagement and as a personalised feedback channel.

"Smart cities present an alluring vision of the future - a tech utopia controlled by city-wide systems all working in tandem to provide a better quality of life. As the world increasingly turns to IoT and M2M technology to engineer this promising future, security takes precedence. Gemalto's solutions have the capability to meet these demands for increasingly personalised, convenient, yet secure, solutions, and our line-up of demos at GITEX is geared to strengthen this claim," says Kristel Teyras, Middle East & Africa Marketing & Communication Director at Gemalto.
