Geotextiles manufacturer selects IFS ERP to support business expansion plans
Geotextiles & Geocomposites manufacturer Alyaf Industrial Company has selected IFS Applications 9 to replace its current ERP system.
The Saudi-based company, the largest manufacturer of geotextiles in the region, will deploy the new solution to provide enhanced functionality and better support the company's expansion plans.
IFS Applications will manage Alyaf's complete manufacturing and supply chain requirements with the ability to support both configure and make to order production. Additionally IFS Applications will also support other operational functions within Alyaf including: HR, finance, payroll, procurement, inventory planning and replenishment, preventative maintenance and work order to maintain the company's equipment. In addition it will help prepare the controlled documentation of all process.
Alyaf will also leverage the IFS Manufacturing Visualiser - an out-of-the-box configurable solution that provides up-to-date information about production statuses from a resource and material perspective.
With two production sites under one company, multiple warehouses and sales centres located across the Middle East, Alyaf required a solution that will support the company's ongoing expansion projects to meet increased demand for its products mix. The deployment of IFS Applications is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2016.
"IFS was clearly favourable against it's competitors," says Nader Nafady, president and CEO of Alyaf. "With an integrated, single instance ERP solution, complete with HR and payroll, IFS Applications 9 will help us manage the business more effectively and better support our complex manufacturing requirements. Coupled with a local team and exemplary local customer references, we look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with IFS to support our continued growth."
