Dimension Data names new CEO
Grant Bodley head the systems integrator’s MEA operations
Global systems integrator Dimension Data, has named Grant Bodley as the new CEO for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) operations.
Bodley's appointment is part of a move aimed at accelerating Dimension Data's five-year strategy to double its revenues. Derek Wilcocks, current CEO, Dimension Data MEA, and Sean Joubert, current managing director, Dimension Data MEA will both be taking up executive positions within the global group.
The company said all appointments are effective 1 October 2015.
Bodley joined Dimension Data in 2000 and prior to being appointed sales director MEA in 2012, the role he currently holds, he headed up Dimension Data MEA's IT outsourcing business.
Brett Dawson, Dimension Data's Group CEO said: "Grant has a strong business background, as well as an IT focus, which means he's able to bridge the gap between IT and business for our clients. This, coupled with an excellent track record spanning 15 years with Dimension Data, positions him well to successfully lead the Dimension Data MEA business.
