What is your current role in the ICT industry in the Middle East and what are your responsibilities?

I am the regional sales manager of Ruckus Wireless in the MENA region. Ruckus Wireless is recognised as one of the leading pioneers in the wireless infrastructure market today.  Ruckus Wireless enables carriers and enterprises to stay ahead of the exploding demand for high-bandwidth applications and services. Our Smart Wi-Fi technology redefines what’s possible in wireless network performance with flexibility, reliability, and affordability.

What is the best thing about your job?

My responsibilities give me the opportunity to be at the heart of the ICT industry.  Working for an innovative and revolutionary company dedicated to delivering high quality Wi-Fi solutions to carriers and enterprise customer at the peak of market demand is the best thing about my job.

How innovative do you think the network industry in the Middle East is and how can it improve?

It is clear that the region is accelerating further and faster into the new digital industrial era. This eruption is one in which organisations from all verticals are able to utilise IT innovations to overcome business challenges and thereby improve their bottom line. That is exactly how Ruckus Wireless contributes in helping over 40,000 customers across the globe.

What are the upcoming trends or products in your sector?

Very exciting technology and trends are soon to be announced by Ruckus. We will continue to add on to our leading .ac product line and more. Customers should keep an eye on our website for our roadmap and announcements.

Does your company utilise virtualisation or cloud computing and if so what products/ implementations do you have?

Ruckus Wireless is a user and a global provider of both Cloud (SAMS and SPOT) and NFV (vSCG virtual controller and vSPOT Location-based service) offering.

What are your out -of-office hobbies?

Similar to most of my peers and colleagues, being connected is a must. I am in constant contact through work email, personal emails, internet browsing, social media, online applications and so on.
