Infinix launches ‘region’s fastest charging smartphone’
Hot Note x551 said to last 1.5 days on 55-minute charge
Infinix Mobility today announced the Middle East launch of its Hot Note x551 handset, which the vendor claims is "the region's fastest-charging smartphone".
"Taking just 55 minutes to charge to 75%, the device will then last for one and a half days at heavy usage," Infinix said in a statement.
The phone will be available exclusively through Souq.com, from prices starting at AED399.
The device has a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen, an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, an 8MP main camera and captures HD video at 30 frames per second. It comes in a choice of four colours.
"We are incredibly excited about this new device," said Benjamin Jiang, managing director, Infinix Mobility. "The size, superior battery life and overall performance of the Infinix Hot Note x551 really allows it to bridge the narrowing gap between smartphone and tablet. The phablet segment is growing incredibly rapidly, due to consumer demand for big screens and high performance coupled with long battery life. Our new device answers all of that."
