Tripp Lite appoints New VP of Sales Khalaev intends to leverage Tripp Lite's existing regional resources including an office in Dubai.

Tripp Lite, a global manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has announced the appointment of Alexander Khalaev as its new vice president of Sales for the MENA, CIS and Baltic regions.

As managing director of Tripp Lite Russia, Khalaev has been leading Tripp Lite's sales efforts in that country and the Baltics since 2008, and in the CIS from 2014.

In his new role, Khalaev will now also head the company's business expansion plans in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

"Alexander established our Russia office and built our business there from the ground up in the face of daunting economic challenges," said Darwin Haines, Tripp Lite's vice president of Sales, EMEA and Asia. "He possesses competent leadership and management skills we need to head our aggressive expansion project in the Middle East and North Africa. Plus, he has many years of experience working with channel partners and large government contractors on projects across a variety of industries, which will prove valuable in his new role. Alexander is ideally suited to help us stimulate growth and accelerate the development of our business in the MENA region."

Khalaev has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and over 15 years of experience working with distribution channels. He has worked with major brands like HP, Motorola and Hitachi Data Systems.
