SANS Institute announces Cyber Security courses in Bahrain
Bahraini nationals eligible for course funding through TPCS scheme
SANS Institute has announced its cyber security training will be held in Bahrain in May.
SANS Bahrain 2015 will host two vital SANS training courses offering essential education around security and ICS/SCADA environments.
SANS Instructor Ted Demopolous will lead SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style, a 6 day course designed for anyone looking to truly develop the understanding and skillset needed to work as an information security professional.
Also running at SANS Bahrain is SANS' dedicated ICS/SCADA security course, ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentials which is led by SANS Instructor Justin Searle, developed to provide a foundational set of standardised skills and knowledge for industrial cybersecurity professionals.
The event is open to residents of any nation; however Bahraini nationals can apply for funding for training via the Tamkeen Professional Certifications Scheme. In addition, students registering and paying before March 18th will also save $500 on course fees.
SANS Bahrain 2015 runs from May 2nd until 7th May 2015 at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel with both courses being associated with GIAC Certifications.
