Gulf Air selects Intel Security solutions Senior executives from Gulf Air and Intel Security announcing the agreement.

Gulf Air has announced an agreement with Intel Security for security solutions including system security, network security and security management solutions.

The airline will implement McAfee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect business data. The agreement will also include Intel Security's professional services which will assist Gulf Air in improving its understanding of security risks, and optimising its information technology security.

Intel Security's Complete Data Protection suite includes Encryption to help Gulf Air safeguard data in transit and on rest, in addition to Email Security Solution which will help protect Gulf Air's critical email services.

Commenting on the agreement, Gulf Air acting chief executive officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said: "Our information technology advances over the past few years have been recognised on a global and regional level and, in our drive to uphold the highest possible information security standards, which we believe will positively impact not only our valued passengers but also our workforce, Intel Security's solutions are a perfect fit. I am delighted to see this relationship come to fruition and expect it will produce benefits across the board."
