Regional systems integrator and solutions provider STME has announced the appointment of Abdulrahman Al Said as managing director for its Saudi Arabian busines.

Al Said joins STME’s growing team, which has presence in 10 offices across Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

“Over the past 30 years, STME has been a significant player in the dramatic transformation of the ICT landscape in the Middle East. Competition is rife in this fast-growing industry, but we stay ahead of the curve because of the innovative products in our portfolio and the savvy professionals in our team, who remain committed to bringing the latest technology to our expanding client base,” the company said.

Al Said brings to STME a wealth of management experience gained through a career spanning over three decades, 20 years of which were spent in management roles in various firms across the Middle East.

 The ICT market in Saudi Arabia is expected to post a year-on-year growth of 4.6% in 2015 to reach $36.95bn, according to the International Data Corporation’s (IDC) latest forecast.
