Huawei has unveiled its latest next-generation full HD video phone, the eSpace 8950 with plans to offer the flagship device for Middle East enterprises.

According to Huawei, full-touch screen technology is captivating businesses across the world as growing popularity of intelligent office video phones have fostered user habits in using new communication methods.

"Today marks the arrival of Huawei's most innovative and technologically advanced video phone yet, it is a symbol of our commitment to pushing the boundaries of unified communication and collaborative solutions for enterprises in the Middle East", said: Kamran Shaukat, Regional UCC Solutions Manager, Huawei, Enterprise, Middle East. "With a stylish new design, full-touch display and interactive user interface, we are providing enterprises with greater convenience and an improved quality of video experience that requires very low bandwidth to operate."

The full-touch video phone provides consistency across computers, mobile phones, and tablets. Featuring a hands-free function, and while using Bluetooth, the voice is automatically switched to the user's mobile phone if the user wishes to leave the office, the user can also continue voice communication using the Bluetooth headset without switching to the headset of the mobile phone.

Equipped with a full-HD 1080p camera, the eSpace 8950 phone features a 6mm ultra-thin body; two high-fidelity audio speakers; multi-touch design and In-Plane Switching (IPS) touchscreen with a "super-wide" viewing angle. The base can also be adjusted.

The eSpace 8950 also provides a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) to project the content from the video phone to a large screen, and works with Unified Communications (UC) systems to provide a wide assortment of enterprise communication services, including corporate directory, voice mailbox, and extension mobility.

In addition to the Android-based management User Interface, eSpace 8950 provides a web-based management page that can be accessed by users through a computer. Users can also manage video phones in batches through Huawei's enterprise network management system eSight.
