SAP announces solutions tie-ups with Samsung, Facebook
German enterprise software giant pledges renewed Middle East focus at Berlin developer summit
SAP pledged renewed focus on the Middle East market at its recent SAP TechEd and d-code event in Berlin.
The German enterprise software giant announced plans with Samsung Electronics to deliver enterprise mobility solutions for a number of industries, including retail, oil and gas, finance, and healthcare, all of which will be based on the SAP Mobile Platform.
Developers will be able to build solutions for mobile devices, including wearables using SAP HANA Cloud Platform mobile services.
SAP is also planning to combine Facebook's Custom Audiences tool with SAP solutions for customer engagement, to deliver business insight tools. The SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence solution is also powered by HANA and is designed to combine customer data with buying history to better target online advertising.
