I am generally up between 7am – 7:30am. I need a minimum of one hour to have my breakfast and get ready. There two exceptions on the days that I wake up at 6:30am and go for a run and swim before getting ready.
I drive to work and the commute takes me around 15 minutes to get to the office.
I usually arrive at the office by 9:00am. I check my calendar before leaving home so whilst driving, I start prioritising my tasks in my head. Once I arrive, after preparing my tea, I start reading my internal emails.
Due to the modern workplace being so demanding, preparation needs to be done before getting to work. As a result, I create a to-do list, which I track throughout the day.
The favourite element in my role is the diversification in today’s marketing. Events, advertising, PR, social media are all distinct areas and I get exposed to all of those areas. This definitely requires multi-tasking and being result-oriented in order to succeed.
I have long term goals rather than daily tasks for my role. In order to keep track, I do a midweek analysis and establish the balance of the tasks that still need to be completed.
My lunches are usually scheduled according to my meetings; however if my calendar allows, I try to take lunch between 1-2 pm.
I always check the ROI on all activities in terms of my contribution to the sales pipeline and revenue. Brand awareness and recognition are other indicators for us to interpret the market penetration.
After every task completed, I tick my to-do list, which consists of daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Checking it is a constant procedure for me.
Being a licensed swimmer, sport has always played an important role in my life. Running and swimming keeps me happy and healthy, and to stay clear and focused.
After a long day, I enjoy going for a run or skating for half-an-hour to clear my mind and relax. Later on, I either watch a movie at home or meet up with my friends.
Unless there is an event or any other occasion keeping me awake, I try to be in bed before midnight in order to get a good rest and be ready for the next day.
