Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the G751- and G551-series gaming laptops.

G751 features an Intel Core processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX970M/980M graphics and Asus TurboMaster GPU-overclocking technology, aiming to deliver "gaming desktop levels of performance".

"G751 demonstrates exceptional thermal efficiency with minimal noise thanks to copper heatsinks and intelligent dual fans that expel hot air via rear vents," Asus said in a statement. "Specially designed for gamers, G751 has dedicated keys for instant access to Steam and one-click gameplay recording; as well as Asus SonicMaster and ROG AudioWizard for powerful, optimised audio for all game genres."

G551 offers up to Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. The G Series laptops come with wide-angle IPS displays, and Full HD visuals. The G Series design features a matte-black brushed-aluminium finish with red diamond-cut edges, and bears an illuminated ROG logo on the lid. The keyboards are designed specifically for gamers, and the "almost-silent" cooling system removes heat with minimum fan noise.

Asus G551 will be available in Jumbo and Virgin Megastores for AED5,499 and Asus G751 will be available in Virgin Megastores from AED7,699 onwards.
