Aruba to demo ‘secure, all-wireless’ workplace at GITEX Enaya: The workplace of the future will need secure wireless infrastructure.
By  Stephen McBride Published  September 21, 2014

Aruba Networks will focus on the proposition of an all-wireless workplace when it comes to GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK next month.

The company will demonstrate its portfolio of 802.11ac wireless solutions, aimed at delivering "stable, secure, simple and intelligent" Wi-Fi networks that operate at gigabit speeds and are tailored for the modern office.

As part of its GITEX announcement, the company cited a survey it conducted earlier this year, which it claimed highlighted the emergence of "a new breed of workers dubbed #GenMobile", characterised by a preference for mobility, both in terms of devices used and approach to work.

The study suggested that 58% of these mobile workers prefer Wi-Fi rather than other connections, such as 4G, 3G or wired.

"This has forced organisations to rethink their networks," said Ammar Enaya, general manager of Aruba Networks Middle East. "The workplace of the future will need secure wireless infrastructure to attract #GenMobile talent and provide them with the tools they need for productivity and innovation."

Aruba Networks will exhibit from Hall 1, D1-30.
