Dubai Municipality to support ‘Smart Living City - Dubai 2014’ Dubai Municipality will share its urban development initiatives to transform the emirate into one of the world's smart cities.

TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing, has announced that Dubai Municipality will participate in the ‘Smart Living City (SLC) Dubai 2014 expo.

The company said that Dubai Municipality will share with other high-profile attendees its sustainable and integrated urban development initiatives to transform the emirate into one of the world's smart cities.

Masood Al Awar, CEO, TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing, said: "It is an honour that Dubai Municipality will be able to join us in the upcoming ‘Smart Living City (SLC) - Dubai 2014.' The event will give the municipality an opportunity to share its inputs on smart living and its strategic urban development initiatives geared towards becoming a smart city.

"We are confident that the participants from different parts of the world will draw valuable insights from Dubai Municipality's presentation. They will be able to learn from the government institution's vast experience in successfully implementing urban development projects and programmes. Dubai Municipality will highlight its current and future programmes to attain high quality of life and sustainable economic development in the emirate. The municipality will also discuss its initiatives to create strong human capital and advanced information and communications technology infrastructure in the city.    

The event will be held on the 15 and 16 September at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel.
