Corporate training company, biz-group has launched a web-based training solution which combines the latest research in brain science with game mechanics, in a bid to improve knowledge retention and business impact.

Axonify, which will be delivered across the GCC by biz-group is able to personalise the learning experience for every employee using a patented algorithm which automatically analyses and identifies knowledge gaps and adapts to the individual's pace and abilities.

"The increasing knowledge around brain science is driving the way we deliver learning and is set to ensure training moves away from the traditional classroom structure to a lighter touch, with frequent interventions. This is supported by research that highlights 90% of information is being learnt on the job, however, 80% of training budgets in the Middle East are still allocated to traditional classroom based methods. This is because, until now, there hasn't been a solution that could reinforce learning and deliver measurable results," said Hazel Jackson, founder and CEO of biz-group.

Training is delivered each day via the Axonify platform to any web-enabled device in topics that matter most to the organisation. Each burst of training takes less than five minutes a day and can be measured against employee and business objectives using the program's analytics and reporting system.

Axonify can be used by organisations of any size and can be programmed to support a specific training need such as driving sales, improving service levels or improving compliance with policies and procedures.

"As the GCC markets transition into knowledge economies, there is an increasing need to address the skill shortages of the local workforce in a way that effectively contributes to the bottom line of business. Gone are the days of training for the sake of training. Investments in the development of employees need to have a tangible impact.

"Axonify's ability to customise workplace training to the learning capacity of each employee allows employers to measure how an individual is applying their new knowledge to their specific job function. This tool has the potential to fundamentally transform corporate training in the Middle East," said Jackson.
