Oracle updates E-business solution

Oracle Corp this week released Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.4, which the company lauded as providing "an updated user experience, significant customer-driven enhancements across the applications suite, and more integrations to Oracle Cloud Solutions".

Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.4 includes enhancements to a number of ERP modules, including Financials, Projects, Purchasing and Channel Revenue Management. Also overhauled is supply-chain management, including upgrades to Order Management, Asset Management and Manufacturing.

Updates within Human Capital Management (HCM) modules include Payroll, Self-Service Human Resources and Learning Management.

Other enhancements include optimisation for tablets, such as larger buttons and support for touch gestures.

"Organisations today need to provide the workforce with a more modern user interface, and address business challenges with greater automation and efficiency," said Cliff Godwin, senior vice president, Oracle Applications Development.

"With Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.4, Oracle continues to modernise the user interface and deliver new customer-driven capabilities across the applications, while reducing the costs of owning and running Oracle E-Business Suite."
