Oxygen, a secure mobility solutions VAD and Aruba Networks Inc, have announced that they have expanded existing offerings of tier-one wireless networking solutions to channel partners targeting the SMB market in the region.

Oxygen said it has taken the move to engage SMB-focused resellers after excelling in the enterprise market.

Under the partnership with Aruba, the distributor will focus on training SMB-focused VARs and helping them to provide comprehensive enterprise-grade security, resilient solutions. In addition, Oxygen will roll out its Partner Incentive Programme, sales and technical support, public relations and marketing backing to help channel partners drive this initiative in Middle East.

Khalid Laban, board advisor at Oxygen Middle East, said: "Oxygen will push hard behind the Aruba SMB products, which are aimed at improving WiFi capacity, security and management of SMB IT infrastructure environments. We will enable resellers and large VARs with SMB best practices to build Aruba's presence among smaller businesses."

Laban said the company's training programme will help the channel to develop so that it is well equipped with the product lines.

"We are pleased with Oxygen's strategy to boost Aruba's wireless and networking solutions available to SMEs and SMBs through the extensive VAR network," said Osama AlHaj- Issa, director, Channel Sales at Aruba Networks Inc."This relationship will help ensure that SMBs have access to the same enterprise-grade wireless networking solutions that are deployed in the largest universities, Fortune 500 companies and government organisations in the world."
