As a new entrant, IB-R Green Systems MEA has posted an impressive $51.4m for 2013 services revenue. Having acquired Enterprise Phoenix and opened subsidiaries in Australia and Morocco last year, the SI wants to grow its stake in the IT maintenance services arena by helping clients with green IT initiatives.

What were the company’s milestones in 2013?
Last year we acquired Enterprise Phoenix and managed to open subsidiaries in Australia andMorocco. This has strengthened our market position to be able to target the services space.

What are your strategic plans for the rest of 2014?
We are developing our activities mainly with the end-user clients in the oil and gas, government, defence, medical and aviation sector. We are aiming to grow our business in MEA through geographical expansion strategy. In addition we want to also grow the US and Asia-Pacific business.

What were the main drivers for your revenue growth in 2013?
The main revenue driver in 2013 was our IT maintenance activity. The majority of the business growth came from new end-user clients.

Has the SI sector recovered from the market instability?
From our view, the systems integration sector has almost recovered from the market instability that happened three years ago. But even during this tough period, we managed to adapt ourselves and get good results through the concept of smart IT maintenance.

Where will your business growth come from in 2014?
Our business growth in 2014 will largely be driven by business coming from the oil and gas companies, and healthcare sector in the region.
