Verdict
With the market uncertainty that lingered in Bahrain now a thing of the past, Almoayyed Computers has posted solid revenue growth this year. The SI has continued to build and transform its business in its quest to become one of the top SIs in Bahrain.

What were the company’s milestones in 2013?
We started the year by winning two very important government contracts – Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and Cisco Framework Agreement. This was a unique positioning to have won two key agreements for the second time in a row. In addition, we signed a few other long term contracts with several public sector entities in Bahrain.

What are your strategic plans for the rest of 2014?
Our strategic focus is on the opportunities presented by the advent of cloud computing. We are well-positioned to be a cloud deployment partner, with the required skills on board. We are also looking at offering a host of services around cloud covering infrastructure and apps.

What were the main drivers for your revenue growth in 2013?
Our ability and a successful track record of delivering solutions across verticals has been a key driver. We worked successfully in government, finance, education and hospitality segments.

Has the SI sector recovered from the market instability?
The market outlook is definitely very optimistic. Projects are happening and the public sector is playing a key role by ensuring infrastructure spending is not compromised.

Where will your business growth come from in 2014?
In 2013 the public sector was the key contributor to our revenue growth, which was closely followed by the finance sector. We expect the same this year.
