LG unveils the newest addition to OLED TV series The EC9300 can be wall-mounted and features LG Smart+ TV which incorporates the new webOS platform.

LG Electronics has today announced the launch of a new 55-inch curved OLED TV which will be available in the UAE in September.

The EC9300 features LG's WRGB OLED technology, boasts a streamlined, sculptured stand and LG's cinema screen design.

"We passionately believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the perfect picture and feel the difference of LG OLED TV," said In-kyu Lee, senior vice president and head of the TV division at the LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company.

"That's why we're continuing to expand our family of products. In addition to releasing exciting new models this year, we will be using a broad range of marketing activities to allow as many consumers as possible to experience the real value of LG OLED TV."

LG's newest OLED TV has ultra-slim bezels and a minimal depth, it can be wall-mounted and features LG Smart+ TV which incorporates the new webOS platform.

The EC9300 also features CINEMA 3D, which utilises LG's proprietary Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology and an advanced conversion engine that turns 2D content into 3D entertainment.
