Teradata has established operations in Saudi Arabia, to strengthen its commitment to current and prospective customers and channel partners in the Kingdom.

The data analytics specialist has set up Teradata Saudi Arabia LLC in Riyadh, to drive its portfolio of analytics, data warehousing and marketing applications solutions to enterprises in Saudi. The company says that it sees strong potential for big data technology in Saudi in the telecoms, financial services, oil & gas and other sectors.

Eric Joulié, vice president, South Europe and Middle East and Africa, Teradata Corporation commented: "Driven by ambitious government plans to boost economic diversity and social development across the nation, as well as exciting transformation in the business environment, Saudi Arabia represents a market of huge opportunities.
