Quantum to unveil ‘Blue Ocean’ strategy at DISTREE ME Ismail says the Blue Ocean strategy is aimed at helping the company to innovate and create new market segments with highly profitable growth.

Quantum, the private label brand, which manufactures tablets, smartphones and notebooks within the BDL Group, has revealed that it will launch the "Blue Ocean" strategy at DISTREE Middle East, which kicks off on 20th May 2014 in Abu Dhabi.

The new strategy will be unveiled during the Live@DISTREE session and aims to help Quantum usher in the next phase of growth in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

The company, which already has presence in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and UAE, is looking to enter other markets across the region.

Tamer Ismail, CEO, BDL Group, said Quantum's Blue Ocean strategy is aimed at helping the company to innovate and create new market segments with highly profitable growth. "The strategy will show and demonstrate to all our retail partners how they can succeed selling Quantum-branded products without having to worry about what the competition is doing," he said.

Ismail said the company is looking forward to unveiling this strategy to all power retailers, hyper market stores and independent high street retailers that will be present at DISTREE Middle East this year," he said.

Ismail said during the Live@DISTREE session, Quantum will be able to share with the audience which of the factors in the consumer electronics sector are taken for granted and how to eliminate that, which factors should be reduced well below the industry's standard, which factors should be raised well above the industry's standard and which factors should be created that the industry has never offered?

Ismail said Quantum plans to focus strongly on offering unprecedented high level services that satisfy customers with quality products. "We are the only brand that others three-year warranty, three month swap out and three-year pick and drop service to customers," he said.

Ismail said the company has service centres across the Middle East and that give comfort to consumers and gives the partners the peace of mind to doing business with Quantum.
