Zain Bahrain last week completed its nationwide rollout of 4G LTE services, which now serve smartphone and tablet users.

The telecoms provider previously launched LTE Internet access for home and office routers, but announced that from 30 April 2014 4G smartphones and tablets will be able to access LTE mobile high-speed data services for no additional cost for three months from the date of subscription.

Zain Bahrain has extended the offer to new and existing customers, both pre- and post-paid. Post-paid LTE subscribers will also get a free additional 2GB of monthly data on top of their current data package threshold.

Following a major network modernisation, other recent enhancements offered to Zain Bahrain mobile users include HD voice technology, alongside wider and stronger network coverage.
