PS4 sales surpass 7m units worldwide Sony said approximately 120 games titles are available or coming in 2014.

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced that sales of its PlayStation4 (PS4) gaming console have surpassed 7m units worldwide.

PS4 game title sales also remain strong with more than 20.5m copies sold in retail stores worldwide and through digital downloads on PlayStation Store as of April 13, 2014.  Sony said approximately 120 titles are available or coming in 2014, according to information available as of the end of March. Among those titles are: Destiny (Activision), The Elder Scrolls Online (Bethesda), Alien: Isolation (SEGA), NBA 2K15 (2K), Watch_Dogs (Ubisoft Entertainment),  #DRIVECLUB (SCE WWS), MLB 14: The Show (SCE WWS) and The Order 1886 (SCE WWS).

Direct retail sales to consumers of consoles and games are estimated by SCE and include those up to 6 April for consoles and 13 April for games, with Japan's data collected from the PS4 console's territory launch on 22 February, 2014; North America's and Europe's figures collected from territory launch on 15 November, 2013; and Latin America's and Asia's data collected from launch on 29 November, 2013.
