Agreement covers the complete array of the vendor’s portfolio in the Middle East

Synology, FDC ProValue partner for Middle East Praveen says the company's vision is to be a one stop solutions shop to partners.

FDC ProValue, a VAD division for FDC International, has signed a distribution agreement with Synology, a NAS solutions provider.

Under the accord, FDC ProValue will supply channel partners in the Middle East with the Synology's full product line.

Ram Praveen, business unit manager - ProValue Division at FDC International, said the company has been distributing two major brands of enterprise storage in the market and Synology NAS complements the solution sales portfolio of ProValue. Praveen said the deal is aligned to the company's vision of providing cloud solutions to channel partners in the region. "This also complements our overall solutions strategy to be relevant to channel partners in the Middle East channel," he said.

Derek Tu, sales account manager, Synology, said the company is delighted to have partnered with FDC ProValue Division to distribute its products in all the Middle East countries.

Tu said Synology is dedicated to taking full advantage of the latest technologies to bring businesses and home users reliable and affordable ways to centralise data storage, simplify data backup, share and sync files across different platforms, and access data on-the-go."I believe FDC elaborated well in its go-to-market plan. Synology's sales  and marketing team will fully support and co-work with FDC to realise the plan," said Tu.

Praveen said ProValue Division's vision is to be a one stop solutions shop to channel partners and provide them with relevant solutions. "Synology is a good addition as it will enable us to provide complete NAS solutions with cloud ability for enterprise and personal storage," he said.
