Judging panel appointed for CME Awards 2014 Six industry experts appointed to judge the Channel Middle East Awards 2014.

The judging panel for the seventh Channel Middle East Awards has been appointed.

The channel pundits who will be tasked with deciding the winners of this year's awards  include Adriana Rangel, research director - Systems & Infrastructure Solutions at IDC MEA, Asem Galal, managing partner, Galal & Karawi Consulting, Samer Karawi, managing partner, Galal & Karawi Consulting, Amer Khreino, managing director, Avenues FZCO, Vasudevan, KS, director at Navo Informatica and Shahood Khan, managing director at Dubai-based IT consulting firm Techmicro.

This year's awards will be presented at a gala dinner, which will be held at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort and Spa on 24 March 2014. More than 350-plus executives and business leaders from the regional channel are expected to attend the ceremony.

This year, there are 17 awards to be handed out with categories covering vendors, distributors, system integrators, resellers, partner programmes and individuals. The shortlisted nominations will be announced in early March, and the final winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony.

Reseller, distributor and vendor companies, and individuals interested in entering the awards can visit the dedicated awards website, which lists all necessary information, including the awards categories and nomination instructions.

Nominations for the awards can still be made via the Awards website up until the closing date - Wednesday 19th February, 2014.
