Starlink, a distributor of IT security solutions in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, has announced the launch of a new partner rewards programme for solution providers across the region.

Dubbed Starlink Choice, the programme was unveiled today to partners at the distributor's Partner Conference for Q1, 2014 in Dubai and aims to reward partner success with targeted sales incentives and marketing programmes.

Delivering a keynote, Avinash Advani, director - Business Strategy at Starlink, said the new programme is open to all partners across the MEA region and covers all the solutions in the portfolio (Core, Emerging and Growth) that the company distributes to the market.

Advani said Starlink Choice has been designed to reward partner performance and success in the market and rebates will be paid to both the company and individuals. "We have introduced this programme for all our Partners and Strategic Partners that are already part of the umbrella Starlink Channel Partner Programme," he said. "Our aim through this initiative is to improve the profitability of all our partners that have a relationship with us."

Advani said all partners will have to agree to set quarlterly targets with rebates calculated and paid at the end of each quarter. He pointed out that partners will also be allowed to carry over their revenue in a case of over achieving. "To receive rebates, partners will have to achieve 80% of the agreed target in a given quarter," he said.

Advani explained that the company has decided to launch Starlink Choice with a view to increasing its visibility and that of partners in the market, improve commitment to both Partners and Managed Partners, grow revenue and the profitability of partners, secure the tech investments that partners are making and challenge the competition. "We will be communicating details of the new programme, its benefits and why partners need to be a part of this initiative soon," he said. "We urge all our partners across the region to take advantage of initiative by joining the programme."
