Intigral, a Dubai-based aggregator and distributor of digital media, has appointed Ben Kinealy as its new CEO. Kinealy replaces acting CEO, Dr Ismaeel Makdisi.

Kinealy’s aim is to expand Intigral into new markets and business areas. He will oversee all aspects of the business including developing partnerships, development of the Intigral brand, and strengthening the company’s position across the MENA region.

Kinealy said: “Today we are among the largest digital companies in the Middle East, we will build on this foundation to further enhance our collaboration with the telcos, while providing the digital ecosystem with the right products and services to help them to reach audiences and market their products across MENA.”

He added that Intigral intends to replicate models that have already proved successful, such as its recent launch, in partnership with STC, of digital football destination, Dawriplus.

“We intend to replicate this model by working with other operators to develop premium digital destinations that can truly help the telecom operators to enhance their core offers as we have already done with STC’s IPTV product, Invision,” he said.

Kinealy was previously VP of IPTV & OTT at Intigral. Kinealy has 22 years’ experience in the digital and media sector. He previously held senior positions in various mobile, IPTV and new media organisations including Telstra in Australia.
