Speaking at an industry event in Seoul yesterday, Kwon Oh Hyun presented the timeline to analysts. The two-year project is broken into phases, with the Galaxy Round's curved-but-rigid display forming the first step.

In 2014 a somewhat flexible display will be introduced, followed in 2015 by a device that folds completely.

Samsung and its rivals have presented a number of prototype flexible devices in the past, but only recently have any curved devices been released commercially. Samsung's recent launch of the Galaxy Round was followed last week by the unveiling of domestic rival LG's G Flex, another curved display in a rigid body.
