Sahara Net, one of the leading cloud solutions providers in the Middle East, is providing cloud services to companies of all sizes across the region, including customers from the UAE, Qatar and Bahrian. Kais Al-Essa, VP of Sales and Marketing, attributes the company’s success to the fact that it caters not only to large organisations, but also to the small business segment.

“If you look at some of the cloud providers in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, most of them focus only on large organisations; they are only talking to banks. They don’t really go down to medium- and small-sized organisations, which have specific needs. For us, we cater to all sizes of businesses from small up,” says Al-Essa.

Sahara Net enables small businesses to host their services with the company for a low annual budget, giving them a space, domain registration and email services.

Everything is hosted in the Gulf region, which is a major plus for many companies according to Al-Essa.

“We also host complete colocation of racks, and multiple equipment in our data centre, which could be thousands of dirhams or hundreds of thousands of dirhams per month in rental, and we cater to all of this through our team. We are one of the leaders of these services in the region. I think that is why a lot of people know about us and come back to us,” he said.

Sahara Net currently operates two data centres, one in Dammam and one in Riyadh.
