With consumers across the UAE turning out in growing numbers for this week's GITEX Shopper event held from 5 to12 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, storage specialist Seagate is showcasing a host of new technologies and promotions for daily visitors at its dedicated stand.

Amongst the personal-storage devices being showcased are the new Seagate Slim, the Seagate Wireless Plus, and the Seagate Central.

Seagate is also welcoming a number of senior executives to this year's event including Dimitri Galle, senior director of sales & marketing at Seagate, to meet with regional partners in reviewing recent innovations in global storage and the trends most likely to impact the external hard drive market in the Middle East region.

At this year GITEX Shopper, Seagate has pledged that the purchase of any Seagate hard drive at the event will "guarantee" the purchaser to "walk away with something extra". Prizes include everything from smartphones to tablets, TVs, SLR cameras, and even Formula 1 Grand Prix Tickets.
