Consumer tech distributor Mitsumi will use GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to reinforce its presence and showcase products and solutions from 19 global technology vendors, including HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Riverbed, Tripplite, Dell, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Western Digital, Sandisk, Dell SonicWall and Microsoft.

With 15 warehouses, nine service centres and over 3,500 resellers across the MEA region, the distributor is bullish about its future growth.

Mitsumi achieved revenue of $245m in 2012 and forecasts this figure to double by the end of this year. The company will now serve the African region from its new headquarters in Dubai. 

At GITEX, Mitsumi will highlight the need of buying genuine products from authorised resellers. In addition, to prevent grey-market temptation the company will offer intensive training and sales incentive programmes for resellers to help them operate.
