Digital threat specialist Kaspersky Lab today announced a new distribution partnership with Ingram Micro's Aptec. As part of this agreement, Aptec will undertake the distribution of Kaspersky Lab's B2B solutions portfolio including Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business.

The partnership will see Kaspersky Lab leverage Aptec's reseller network, said to cover over 70 markets. As the authorised distributor for Kaspersky Lab corporate security solutions, Aptec expects to extend its sales, marketing and logistics expertise to expand the Kaspersky's reach across key markets in the GCC, Levant and North East Africa in addition to West Asia.

Kaspersky Lab and Aptec hope to take advantage of increasing cyber security spending across the Middle East and Africa region, as enterprises continue to counter "the challenges of advanced security threats driven by increasing global connectivity".

Aptec will also work with Kasperky Lab to offer channel enablement opportunities to resellers, particularly focusing on training and education to help partners identify and understand "unique customer requirements and position the right solution to meet these needs".
