Sariya signed as Eset ME distributor for KSA Jaddo says Sariya wants to cement its presence in the KSA channel with the Eset agreement.

KSA-based IT distributor Sariya Company Ltd, has signed a distribution deal with security software vendor Eset Middle East.

In terms of the agreement, Sariya will provide Eset's consumer products that include the ESET NOD32 Antivirus suite, which features antivirus, antispyware, anti-phishing, anti-rootkit, real-time protection, cloud-powered scanning, removable media control, social media scanner and gamer mood.

Majdi Jaddo, consumables sales manager at Sariya Company Ltd, said: "Eset is one of the strongest security firms globally, covering all aspects of the consumer market with best-of-breed solutions. The products they develop are deferent in many ways than competitor offerings and we are delighted to have them on board. The depth of Eset's consumer offerings is one of the key reasons that made us take to partner with the company."

Jaddo said because the accord covers the entire KSA market, resellers and retailers can expect products to be available on demand through Sariya's three main offices in Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. "The reach will allow us to offer better support in shorter time periods, allowing us to reach remote areas across the KSA," he said.

Jaddo explained that as part of cementing the company's presence in the KSA channel market, Sariya is in process of appointing sub-distributors in Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. "We will be complementing these efforts with seasonal marketing campaigns that are aimed at both sub-distributors and resellers and retailers. This will include product bundling and assisting partners with merchandising in the stores," he said.

He said as part of the brand and marketing awareness campaigns, Sariya will also pay special attention to power retailers and hypermarkets in the KSA, as the two retail segments have a huge walk-in potential from end-user customers.
