Cerebra unveils new business unit
New Security Solutions division will focus on IT surveillance security offerings
Cerebra Middle East, a regional value-added distributor (VAD), has launched of a new business unit dubbed Security Solutions that will focus on IT surveillance security solutions.
The company says the move to establish a new business unit is aimed at providing support to channel partners playing in the IT security solutions for CCTV, access control, analytics, PSIM and other physical security products.
Cerebra has also appointed Zaher El Ali, as the new business head for the Security Solutions division.
El Ali said: "This is a new model for distribution in the security systems domain. Not only are we bringing to our channel partners well known vendors from the US and European markets, but what is unique in our model is that we will provide the market with not just a box mover distributor role, but will be consultants for our partners as well."
El Ali explained that the establishment of the new business unit paves the way for the company to start offering enhanced support to partners, enabling them to provide superior support to their customers."We have selected our manufacturers carefully to make sure that our solutions offerings will be totally integrated," he said.
Asit Ahuja, CEO and managing director, Cerebra ME said the company is committed to offer best in class solutions to the partner community in the region and the inclusion of a specialist security business unit will further enhance the partners' capabilities and offerings in the market. Ahuja said Cerebra has also kept in mind the commercial attractiveness of the new solutions and is upbeat that these offerings will provide a greater ROI to customers.
